About the project

Founded by a group of Czech comic book creators this project seeks to use a popular literary means to draw attention to the mass abuse of prisoners of conscience in China for organ transplants. We want to artfully portray the story of an international investigation based on actual events. What are we trying to change? People’s indifference to evil, to evoke interest and dispel apathy.

The comic book tells the story of how investigative reports came about and sparked a worldwide debate about the abuse of modern transplant surgery in China. It is related to the violent repression at the turn of the millennium, which resulted in the persecution of supporters of the Falun Gong meditation practice and culminated in the liquidation of large groups of dissidents (ChristiansUyghurs and Tibetans).

We want to motivate readers to take a greater interest in what is happening in China today and the problem of the abuse of transplant surgery in order to liquidate dissidents and monetize their organs.

Story line

We have prepared a script and the first drawings for a comic book, in which more than a dozen characters of real people appear. They have been involved in the investigation of serious crimes in China. Three of them were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The story begins in 2006. It follows the fate of a girl who, forced by circumstances, seeks help from an organ transplant provider in a Chinese hospital. She flies to China to receive a heart transplant for a large sum of money. In front of the hospital, she accidentally stumbles into a journalist who is searching for evidence of the secretive H5N1 bird flu epidemic. During the investigation, he discovers a detention camp with several thousand prisoners by chance, which adjoins the hospital.

A dangerous investigation begins, which reveals an even more dangerous truth. Read more about the Story here…

Support the project

Your contribution will help us draw our scenario, which is based on a true story, into a comic book form. It will lend us a hand with doing all the sketches and drawings and bringing our art vision to life. It will help to make more people aware of the problem, thereby accelerating the resolution of the unacceptable human rights situation in China.

Donors will receive latest sketches during the project and in the end receive a digital version of the comic book.

Support our project with a donation on gofundme.com and share it with your friends and family.
